The OP and her husband, both English, bought a villa in Thailand together, may be as a business using a Thai representative’s name to buy it to get around the rules of Farlang ownership. Then something happened and they separated and now wifey is trying to claim recompense from her husband under the auspices of the English divorce courts to receive a divorce settlement in her favour but first and I bet under the guidance of her lawyer, she has to find some documentary evidence of where hubby is stashing his cash and anything he owes in Thailand or who’s name he is hiding his money and property under. If she archives this hubby will be stuffed if he returns to England because under the UK legal system he will be held liable to pay back for all the alleged wrongs the OP says he has done her, she’s probably laid it on thick.

Why she has probably mentioned all this on here because there may be a chance someone will know him and give him away. I have seen this happen loads of times and if I am wrong the OP can correct me.

Yes but where does this thai family come into this she mentions thai family not getting hands on money and sister in law?????*? Plus if I read correct they build house not buy. Very confusing if you are right maybe she has a right maybe but this is Thailand were property and all other things are split 50/50 however in truth usualy husband leaves for new lady and wife stays and keeps house and look up children.

No, she mentioned daughter in law. I’m guessing the couple have a son who is married to or was living with a Thai partner in Thailand and they have children together. The OP was referring to her daughter in law’s mother. I guess this is how the couple bought the villa using the name of their Thai daughter in law and may be also the mother. It seems the son in the UK not being a man of means was unable to get his Thai family into England and could have stayed in Thailand for a while or only visited them on occasions and then he split leaving his Thai partner. Hubby being close with his Thai daughter in law, although we don’t know exactly how close, decided to stay on in Thailand and seems to want to be disassociated from his wife in England and have left it up to his son if he wants to visit him. Wifey is frustrated because hubby is outside of UK jurisdiction and unable to make any claims on him.

I do not have a solicitor or anything ..

What started as my main concern was if the Thai family could get hold of our money .. Until he pays me wage he owes me ..

I have no idea if the villa has actually sold..

If it's sold, I have no idea where the money is as he is on tourist visa ..

I have no idea where he is living cud be with daughter in law.

He does not seem to want a divorce .. If I mentioned it.. He ignores ..

I am just kissed off .. He just changed and all because this daughter in law was affectionate to him.. But I do know whatever she or however she acts.. It's for her own agenda .. She also played me, my so. And my Hsiang against each other and she was the one that always was the victim if her and my son had fights.. Nasty piece of work ..

So, there is nothing I can do .. But in the end his loss .. As he is loosing his own family for the Thai family .. Silly man..

You don't know where he is you say then you say divorce and if I mention it!!! So you do talk to him!!!! How does he owe you wage!!!!
