Khmer Times/Sok Chan

The biggest beverage producer and distributor in Thailand plans to increase its exports and focus on Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam and aims to boost sales by 20 percent by 2020, according to the Thai media. SermSuk Plc, a beverage producer and distributor and part of the massive Thai Beverage Group, reported a net loss of about 63.5 million baht, or about $1.7 million, in revenue for first quarter of the year, according to Thai Media.

To stem its losses, The Nation newspaper reported the company will boost exports to neighboring countries to try to gain 20 percent more sales over four years. Vivek Chhabra, the president of Sermsuk and Thai Drink Co and CEO of the soft drink units of Thai Beverage, told The Nation that Sermsuk planned to expand its reach to meet the diverse consumer demand in both the domestic and international markets and boost sales.

He said the group produces carbonated drinks, bottled water, energy drinks, green tea and health beverages. He added that the group has seven non-alcoholic brands – Oishi green tea, Ranger energy drinks, EST carbonated drinks, 100 plus functional carbonated soft drinks, Crystal bottled water, Jab jai herbal drinks and Lipton tea.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Did they have losses when they were selling Pepsi ? Have seen EST in Malaysia.

This comment is a bit concerning: "To stem its losses, The Nation newspaper reported the company will boost exports to neighboring countries to try to gain 20 percent more sales over four years." They had to wait until there were losses to enter other markets ? You would hope they would be just a little more assertive and proactive. Wonder what the stock holders think

I wonder if they understand that people outside Thailand don't speak Thai!
