Just take a minivan from Victory monument to Nonthaburi and then a taxi to immigration.

Taxies didn't know where the immigration office was.

Nothing that can't be solved with google maps.

Is the N30 stop near the immigration office? How much for the taxi from there? Thanks.

Taxi will be the quickest by far.

You take the Victory Monument entrance to the 2nd stage expressway heading towards Chaeng Wattana. After you pay the second (B10) toll, take the first exit (Namwongwan). From there just go straight all the way to the end of Rattanathibet Rd, then on to Kanchanphisek towards Pathum Thani.

If the taxi driver doesn't know then ask once in that area. Motorbike taxis will know.

Outside rush hour, should take 20-25 minutes. Using the river will be a much longer trip.

Bear in mind that it's not that easy to 'pick up' a taxi there ... you are some way from the main road. Hopefully someone will advise the best place to walk to, to pick up a taxi ... alternatively keep the taxi that took you there.

In the past I've given lifts back, you might be lucky and someone is leaving when you are.

When do you need to go ?.......... 6th August the Purple line will be running full time.. last station [end] in just about level to the turn off [big blue sign] Nonthaburi Immigration..

Otherwise a Mini Bus to Westgate Shopping Centre or Bang Yai and get a Taxi........[get off Bus at Big C Extra 'old Carrfour' Nonthaburi = about 1.5 km to sign and left turn off]. Not hard as you need to go North, when you see the Purple Line Depot on the right, the driver must go down on the left as said big sign + also big sign at Immigration road + you can see the building as in the middle of a field..

What you see from the road going to Immigration, could not post pictures error 1Q ?

so here is a old Map

good advice and good map, get yourself to Bang Yai / Big C Extra by van from Victory Monument, then change to local taxi meter or motocy rap jan and go to immigration

its a relatively long way from the boat stop to immigration, if you are keen on using the Express on Chao Praya:

take skytrain from Victory Monument to Saphan Kwai,

get a taxi meter to take you to the river and the nearest pier

get off at the end stop (that will be Tha Naam Non)

now, take the shuttle ferry from the pier and across the river to Bang Sii Muang

get a taxi meter to Big C Extra / Bang Yai, not too far

change to local taxi meter or motocy rap jan and go to immigration

For this immigration office: Chaeng Wattana Rd, Amphoe Pak Kret, Chang Wat Nonthaburi 11120, Thailand

1. You can catch many buses from Victory monument to Chatuchak market - The most frequent is no 29 - every 10 minuites.

2. From Chatuchak market get the number 52 bus - There are 3 every hour - This bus will take to to the stop on Chaeng Wattana Rd - Get off and walk left next to the government offices - down to the very bottom of the open road way and find immigration in the last building.

Note - the number 52 does meander a lot and takes its time to get to where you need to get off - But it will get you there in the end - feels like most of the journey you are not going in right direction and its way too long, but that's the way it is.

For landmarks - Look out for Pak Kret post office (big HQ) on LHS and then CAT huge buildings campus on LHS - Then on this last landmark get ready to stand up and leave the bus - you are at your correct stop.

Good Luck.

Yes JAS21 it is the main immigration office for Bangkok and where extensions take place - Obviously Bangkok is a large place - To be specific its located at Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Bangkok - However Pak kret is rarely used to identify this location for online, but useful to find it on goggle maps.

Nonthaburi is a province and Pak Kret is a city in Nonthaburi Province,

Best way to getting back is to use the (hidden) bus terminal directly opposite that very few people actually use.

Best to find a location from the above link - About 5 bus routes in total - Then work out which works best for your own location to pick up a connection - For me I use to take a no 66 bus directly back (non stop) takes you to Pinklao which is near Khausan road / Grand Palace, but if you get off the bus early when it gets near the river you can catch no 14 direct to Victory monument.

I was gonna say there are various convoluted routes to Bang Yai involving the Sky Train, boats, vans, motorcycle taxis, but I'll leave that to other members. There should be a Sky Train connection towards the end of this year, which should simplify matters. Incidentally, Nonthanburi Immigration is stuck in the middle of nowhere. Whatever you do, don't get it confused with ChaengWattana.

The border between Bangkok and Nonthaburi is Khlong Prapa with BKK on the east side and Nonthaburi on the west side.

The government centre which Bangkok Immigration is part of is on the east side and therefore located in Bangkok not Nonthaburi.

Yes..please ignore whoever is saying that Chaengwattana in BKK is in Nonthaburi. BKK Immigration is in LakSi

Bangkok Immigration office is NOT what the OP asked about.

Woops ...

He wants Nonthaburi Immigration and not Bangkok Immigration.

I see someone had already pointed out that Bangkok Immigration is not in Pak Kret and not even in Nonthaburi.

FYI Information I live in T.Bangtalad, which is in A.Pak Kret, which as you rightly say is in C.Nonthaburi.

The dividing line between Bangkok and Nonthaburi in that area is Klong Prapa. I live on the Nonthaburi side of Klong Prapa ... actually about 3kms from the Immigration Offices on Chaeng Wattana, so I know the area quite well, but have to use Nonthaburi Immigration ... I gave the coordinates of Nonthaburi Immigration in an earlier post and a few useful pointers.

However your information is very useful for those wanting Bangkok Immigration, especially those who don't have their own transport. All the other posts are useful for the guy who wants Nonthaburi Immigration.

By the way we have had the house in Pak Kret since 2004 so do know the area reasonably well.

enjoy ....

ps ... this is Bangkok Imm address ...: 7 Chaeng Wattana Lak Si, Bangkok 10210, Thailand ... direct from their website

Bus Route 166(aircon) from north west side of Victory Monument to 1st bus stop after leaving expressway.

Then cross the road and take taxi or Bus routes 150 or 356 or 52 eastwards, about 3km along Chaeng Watthana road(304) to Immigration.

(Fast&Cheap; Expressway, no bus stops, runs from Victory M. to Chaeng W.)

This office is not the Nonthaburi immigration office, it is the main immigration office for Bangkok.

(and I doubt that it is in amp. Pak Kret)
