Where does the Buakhao Baht bus path end on each side?

Featured Replies

I've never taken them all the way -- do they turn on Pattaya Central and South Rd? I assume they would both turn west in order to loop back to their start locations?

Thanks

95% of the time the Baht Buses will turn west...Except the one time your in a big hurry

then they will turn east....

At Glang, 95% of them will turn left and then right onto Second Road.

At Pattaya Tai, 99% of them turn right then its a 50 50 chance whether they go left to Jomtien or right onto Second Road.

The Tues/Friday Market makes this even more unpredictable.

Most market days, when they reach Pattaya Tai they have to turn left/east because the police have blocked a right turn ... and often they've blocked anyone turning off Pattaya Tai onto Soi Buakow, so presumably north bound song taeows on Soi Buakow have to enter from somewhere other than Patttaya Tai.

There is no hard and fast "path." It's really up to the driver. Usually they turn left/west at Pattaya Klang and turn right when they reach Pattaya Tai, but on market days the police usually limit what they can do when they reach Pattaya Tai.

Just a crap shoot at best....I've had them turn into their homes, friend's house, bar, gas station and the like....but never the same route twice...???

Varies

Who owns controls the Baht buses ?

It's a cooperative regulated by the city I believe.

At Klaing I would say a 1/3 turn onto 2nd, same turn onto Beach Rd and the a 1/4 do a uturn at Beach Rd. On market days many end their route by turning into the west parking lot at the market.

i never even thought of spending days on the interweb trying to find out where a bus goes, i generally spend 10 baht and find out for myself.

Going south, at market times they will turn left on Pattaya Tai.

Outside of those times, in my experience they turn right about 85 percent of the time.

99 percent? NO WAY!
