Hi Everyone, Some friends and I are planning on camping in Doi Inthanon next weekend. Does anyone have any info on camping there? We heard there were cabins for rent, but "real" camping would work to. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Emily

the entrance fee is not more 10 baht (as stated on the site) - it's now 400 bah for the foreigner

I was at Doi Inthanon on Sunday. I showed them my Thai DL and payed nothing. Didn't even have to pay the Thai rate.

Also the 10 baht mentioned is for use of the camping ground and washroom facilities there. It's not the entrance fee to the park as a whole.

You can't count on proper, non-broken tents and clean blankets to be there available for rent. I mostly bring my own tent and blankets, etc.

Can't help on camping but if you happen to pass the trout farm drop in and pick up a dozen. Very nice indeed. I believe I paid something like 300baht for a kilo.
