BANGKOK, 23 May 2016 (NNT) - The National Legislative Assembly is set to deliberate a draft law on the transfer of fiscal budget and other regulations.

NLA President Pornpetch Witchitcholchai has issued an order calling for a sitting of members of the legislature on May 26 to deliberate an urgent matter, which is a draft amendment of the transfer of fiscal budget expenditure proposed by the Cabinet.

The NLA will also be reviewing draft regulations related to the filing, acceptance and deliberation of complaints by the NLA’s committee on ethics.

In addition, the legislature will consider a 30-day postponement of the deadline for consideration of the draft law on compensation and expenses of defendants in all criminal cases, and a draft law on the court proceedings in corruption case.

In his latest order, Mr. Pornpetch also indicated the cancellation of the NLA sitting on Friday, May 27.
