PATTAYA: -- At 2.30am, on the morning of 22 May, Pattaya police were informed of a mugging in Petchtrakool Road, off Pattaya Klang.

At the scene Mr Panupong See Yang, a tour guide responsible for a group of Chinese tourists, informed the officers that his clients had arrived in Pattaya for a two day visit and had taken a baht bus into town to enjoy the atmosphere.

On the way back the baht bus stopped at a red light and one of the group noticed a Thai man on a blue Honda Wave motorbike, with no license plates, had pulled up alongside and was pretending to be talking on his cell phone.

The next one reported stolen will be worth 120,000 baht.

Why is it these stories dont bother me?

Ahhaa,, The old trick of talking on the phone caper.... really, all tourists guides should advise all tourists

under they care to remove all expensive necklaces and be mindful of thieves, pickpockets and snatchers,

but knowing the locals, the big Mai pen Rai comes in, thinking that nothing will happened to them.....

a Thai man on a blue Honda Wave motorbike,----OP

Well that should certainly narrow it down....................coffee1.gif

Probably fake and insurance scam...Anyway,

If your dumb enough to wear a 100K chain

If you wear a 100k chain ANY time in Pattaya, you are completely and utterly stupid. Personally this story I would say "Ding Ding, pull the other leg"

The Great Gold Robbery

All these Gold Snatches could be stopped so easily. It could become an offence for enticing theiving Bastard locals by alluring them

to the bait - Goldfish !!!

Of course the tourist guide could have been informing his partner about which tourist was wearing a 5 baht gold chain and made sure that he was seated correctly for a theft.

An offence?,,,now there's an idea!

Your starting to think like a thai every day...LOL.......haha......

Because you probably wouldn`t be stupid enough to walk around wearing a 100000 baht necklace in Pattaya.
