NRSA discusses ways to further push reforms

BANGKOK, 31 May 2016 (NNT) – The National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) has discussed ways to make the national reform effort more efficient, affirming the need for it, the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) and Cabinet to work in a unified manner.

At its meeting today, the NRSA held a discussion on the topic “More Efficient Ways to Achieve National Reform Goals and the Role of the NRSA”. The talk was held with confidentiality to allow each member to fully express their views.

NRSA Chairman Capt. Thinaphan Nakata said the NRSA is seeking ways to more concretely enact the plans of the National Reform Council and seeking ways for relevant agencies to play a more active role in the effort. He stated that the NLA and Cabinet have been very effective in reforming the nation and have given good support to other bodies.

Several members of the assembly suggested that the NRSA amend its role to also be involved in fielding questions and ensuring the success of the public referendum on the draft charter, stating playing such a part would be more substantial.

For extra points, identify one reform proposed and enacted by the NRSA.

How about this one.

The NRSA said there will be no more crooked politicans running the country. There will never be any politicians running country again. Just crooked military personnel pretending to be politicians.

the NLA and Cabinet have been very effective in reforming the nation

If that was true, why does the NRSA need to seek ways for relevant agencies to play a more active role in the effort?

All done. So disband. Or does NRSA stand for Never Retire Stagnant Assembly?
