chubby
I would try the Tumeric over the Omega3s(which are full of toxins from the fish), and you know viscosupplementation and glucosamine, have about the same 'efficacy' , which is all indetermined, you need to do like a 3 month trial and the right dose, with a quality product (supplements are all unregulated, though there are "seals of approval" on some, etc). there are two 'salts' on the glucosamine, which per my MD should not matter, though the one good study, used the atypical more expense salt, the 'sulfate' version instead of the carbonate I believe. In the end Ice and braces, and maybe some NSAIDs or tylenol for the right person at the right time. everything else, is just gonna be anecdotal, SamE, shark cartilage whatever.......IMHO
snowgard
I got very strong arthritis pain in both knees last year october. I gone to the pattaya city hospital and been xrayed, ...!!! At the end I got painkillers and a injection in both knees. But this helped only some days and the pains are back. In April I readed about Glucosamine and Chondroitin and because this is very very expensive i Thailand I ordered it over ebay from the UK. I paid for 180 tabs with 750mg Glucosamine, 600mg Chondroitin and 50mg Calcium just around 550 THB incl. shipping. It needed around 8-10 days and I was run around without pain. For me it worked very well. But ... The UK Seller don't sell it anymore on ebay. You can buy Glucosamine in the most pharmacies but for a 30 day pack you pay from 350 THB up to 950 THB. 3-4 times so expensive as in the UK. Some days ago I found another UK seller where I ordered 180 tabs (1.000mg) for 7,50 BP include shipping and wait now for it. MSM I got yesterday 1kg and try it now. I hope it help. If someone is interested here are the link to the UK Seller on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GLUCOSAMINE-SULPHATE-2KCU-1000mg-180-Tablets-/112131276123?hash=item1a1b8b7d5b:g:uUsAAOSwRJ9Xg6uZ And here you can check the price in a Onlineshop in Thailand: http://www.muwashop.com/search?q=glucosamine The most pharmacies will have something. snowgard
My friend not come. First in Nov. or Dec. so I ordered Glucosamine from this Ebay shop. But this Glucosamine is not so good as other before. Taste and smell is full of chemicals. But still it help. Best and cheapest way is it to ask a friend to bring it with. In europe you got it 60-80% cheaper as here. This one I ordered before on ebay and it helped great. And shipping was only 2.99 BP. But seller not sell it anymore on ebay.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00L5GVQ7E/ref=s9_simh_gw_g121_i1_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=0TJBGPDW09JA0YH7XM6H&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=16f14aeb-bd11-4e9e-8c26-9ca0139074ee&pf_rd_i=desktop&th=1 Edited October 10, 2016 by snowgard

Taylor Dave
You can try some exercises for arthritis and also can implement some home remedies in daily routine like you can include turmeric and ginger tea in your drinking habit. Magnesium plays a vital role in building the bones stronger which later shields the joint pain. Now-a-days many meditations are also available in the market which you can try them. Recently I got to know about Lyprinol which deals with joint pain/ arthritis. While reviewing it here- https://www.consumerhealthdigest.com/joint-pain-product-reviews/lyprinol.html I got to know that it is a unique blend of Omega 3 which reduce the inflammation for those suffering from arthritis/ joint pain. Spaniel
http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-37429050 Interesting article about glucosamine. The OP started the thread back in June 2016. Would be nice to get a update on his condition. Edited March 28, 2017 by Spaniel add additional info
