Alleged serial rapist arrested in Battambang

Four girls aged between 13 and 16 have filed complaints against an alleged serial rapist in Battambang province and more are expected to surface in the coming days.

Duk Chea, 62, was arrested by provincial police on Wednesday in Bavel district’s Khnach Romeas commune, according to provincial deputy chief of criminal cases Mey Kimsan.

Kimsan said two victims came forward that morning followed by another two in the afternoon, adding that Chea had admitted to two of the rapes.
