I have a METV thats going to expire in a couple days but never done a border run before. Will be driving with Thai girlfriend, may I know if same day in/out is allowed and how difficult is the process to apply for a visa on arrival at the border?

Easy to obtain the visa on arrival,small building on your right after you stamp out of Thailand.

In and out same day no problem.

Thai baht excepted for Cambodian visa 1200 baht.

You will need a photograph for your Cambodia visa.

Ignore all the touts asking you if you want a visa.

If your Thai girlfriend is crossing with you,she has to stamp out of Thailand in a separate line from foreign passport holders,you need to go up the stairs.

I strongly suggest you to made your application online, no need to spend moneys for pictures, you just use a suitable one you already have on your pc, then you will save a whole page on your passport as instead of that ugly and huge visa that takes a whole page, they will just stamp you in and out, the processing takes 3 working days

I done Cambodian visa both ways. Online saves a page in your passport cost is a few dollars more came back to my email processed in 24 hours...

Thais need no visa..

Idea ask in Casino Hotels if they can assist not this trip but for in the future. Might be it cant be done but if only wanting to gamble for 1 night stay in no mans land would it be possible to not enter Cambodia

Has anybody ever tried this for sure the casino bus with gamblers travelling to border casinos dont check in to Cambodia. Check out of Thailand next day check back in offset the Cambodian visa against the hotel costs

As a foreigner you must stamp in and out of Cambodia to re enter Thailand.

I would imagine Thai nationals have no issue leaving Thailand and using the Casinos and returning without even going to Cambodia, it may be wrong but believe that is the purpose of such Casinos being placed in the so called No Mans area.
