Wrong stamp from Mukdahan office

Featured Replies

I returned via Mukdahan bridge after getting my new OA non -imm multi entry on May 11,I just noticed that the passport entry stamp andTM6 are stamped TR admitted until 9 July instead of Non O admitted till August.

My bad for not checking it at the time but it was one hectic time after the long break and I slipped up.

My question is ,can I get it rectified at Udon Immigration or am I stuck with losing the month?

  • Yes, any errors can be rectified at your immigration office.

If you have a "OA non-imm" you should have been granted a 12 month stay.

If you have a "Non O" you should have been granted 90 days.

"TR" stands for tourist visa so it looks like you were given 60 days based on a tourist visa.

Why do people not check before they leave immigration?

So easy only takes 30 seconds, saves a lot of hassle later.

As I said,,, it was a hectic , busy day, understaffed, cameras not working,2 rows of approx 50 westerners ,walked from entry window to bag search by armed army personel,,additional interogation re why we were coming to Thailand.

I am pushing 80 yo and lived here for 15 years and its the first time I had encountered it to this extent.
