June 14, 201610 yr I just left 2 different banks which would not fulfill my request for a money order to Canada that was to be payable to the Minister of finance. There reasoning behind this was that the Minister of Finance is not a person and would be unable to cash the money order which is bs. I told them it was a government office and in their stupidity they said cannot without a person's name which at that point I turned and walked away. I spoke with the Ministry of Finance last night and they informed me i could either make the payment to them by cheque or money order payable to the Minister of Finance. I don't have any checks so a money order was the obvious choice. <deleted>
