PHUKET: A three-meter-long python was captured near a school in Patong this morning.

The snake was found with its head stuck in netting covering a chicken coop at 9:30am in Soi Phra Barami 6, next to Kalim school.

Pythons can keep breathing with an antelope half way down it's neck.

They're very hard to kill and strangling definitely would not work.

This method works, I have seen how it works at my house, no injury whatsoever.

So, what alternative is proposed?

A friendly request to go home, or a machete perhaps ?
