Have a few folders I can't delete ( recommendations welcomed ), but it says I have 1.1 GB of pics when there is almost zero on my phone and no streaming

Have you checked in Photo's under Albums, Recently Deleted if that is empty ?

If so, then

Connect the iPhone / iPad to your computer

Click (in your) Computer on This Computer

Click on the iPhone / iPad

Click on internal storage

Click on DCIM

Check the 1xxApple directories

If there aren't any Pictures in those Directories, then you have Synced your iPhone / iPad with iTunes on a Computer and those Pictures you can only remove by reconnecting your iPhone / iPad to iTunes and remove them from there

Stupid I know, but that is the way it is (unfortunately)

Thanks - deleted the folders finally

Seems Apple can't agree how much space I have left

iPhone says 5.6 GB left, Mac says 8+

Yeah my iPhone also says a different amount free then iTunes on PC. One of those small and quirky bugs

very shy now...... errr... there is an edit button up top.... clicked it, and it then allowed me to delete. Seems Apple UX designers overlooked this, as normal delete these days is swipe to the left. ( edit and delete is i think old hat now )

even though no pics in photo's - it says i have 1.1 GB of photos... real confusing.
