Trump fires his campaign manager in dramatic shake-up

Most filings with a court are settled without a trial and the norm is to agree to a confidentiality clause enforcable by the court as a part of the litigation, the process, the procedure and the settlement.

Someone like Trump would get the lawyers who specialise in settlements out of court so to speak and who muzzle publicity by getting confidential final agreements in a court of law.

Whether Trump is running for prez or not, and it's only 12 months since he got into politics, Trump would not want his cheating of workers publicised in an actual court trial with a judge and jury and verdict and all the attendant publicity that goes on the public record forever to anyone.

We know Trump is a no-pay sleaze, we just don't have all the details, instances, specifics, and we probably never will have any more than a piece of it all.

Have I missed a thread here?

My understanding, from the limited dose of US news I ingest here in Thailand, is that Trump is well respected among workingmen.

No small feat for a man who has made billions, no?

What campaign?

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/06/donald_trump_s_invisible_campaign.html

There Is No Donald Trump Campaign

Firing your campaign manager is not a big deal when there’s nothing to manage.

...

I don’t know. No one knows, because it’s never happened before. But if the polls are any indication, what happens is something like a catastrophic defeat for Trump and the rest of the Republican Party. And of all possible outcomes in this election, that’s the most fitting. Trump built his career by talking and grifting his way into some facsimile of success, before losing it to his own arrogance and narcissism. If nothing else, a historic defeat in November will fit the pattern.

He TROUNCED 16 rivals

But there IS no campaign

Okay then...

But NOW...

Oh golly the POLLS are not good

Oh GOLLY

PS

Stay tuned...

excerpt from today's NPR article titled; Donald Trump's Problems Are Much Deeper Than A Campaign Manager

Trump has myriad problems, including a lack of policy depth, a dereliction of facts and an overall message — especially when he talks about race and identity — that has offended lots of voters he didn't have to worry about in a nearly all-white Republican primary. But a general election is a whole different ballgame. Some 14 million people voted for Trump in the primaries — a record. But Obama won almost five times as many votes in the 2012 general election (66 million).

"Trump is well respected among workingmen." .....is that a sick joke?

There are thousands, maybe tens of thousands of folks who have worked for Trump and/or his organizations, who have been thwumped by The Divider. Trump has lost hundreds of lawsuits brought on by workers who weren't paid as promised by Trump Inc. To say he's widely 'reviled' would be using too nice a word.

Anyone who believes he's made (or worth) billions needs to get a reality check. He applied for, and rec'd hand-outs from NYC for several years in a row. One of the requirements for that hand-out was an applicant make less than $500k/yr. If Trump makes less than $500k/yr then he's not a billionaire. Do the math.

He says he's worth "many billions of dollars" It's already low class to brag about how rich you are, but to stack braggadicio on top of lies, is even lower class. I venture there will be a new word added to the English language due to Trump:

'Trumpism' (noun) def.; a boast about something which is not true or inflated.

Listen to Donald Trump and everyone loves him. Starting with Lewandowski.

And everyone will vote for him. Workingmen and workingwomen especially, not to mention Hispanics, judges, all persons of any and all religions, ethnicities, national origin, business people, organised labor, the rich and the poor; those from the north, south, east and the west, bankers, investors, former wives and mistresses, all veterans, blacks....and Democrats in particular. Trump's gonna win in a walk to a landslide even if he has stopped citing comprehensive polling survey results across the board.

Even Vladimir Putin has pretty much endorsed Trump, calling The Donald a "genius" (which is a word applied to another charismatic crackpot leader well known in 20th century history over in Europe, in the country between Poland and France).

Izzat btw Donald Trump in your avatar?

Trump talks so loosely and so much and so glibly and in such a train of complete inaccuracies and nonsense he now has to show and thereby prove he is a billionaire. Show us conclusively. Trump lies so much one can rightfully call him a liar.
