Recent reports here have suggested that when seeking a renewal to a 'Retirement Visa' (permission to stay based on retirement) that proof of address is NOT required. My RV was renewed this week without any problems but the officer did ask for proof of address.

My retirement visa was issued in Jomtien. I live in Bangkok and have changed address officially at CW. I would like to go back to Jomtien for extension. Is that possible? The address which i will use is my BKK address. Thanks.

You will have to apply for your extension at CW. You have to do it at the designated office for where your are living.

Unfortunately this is not accepted.

You have to use the office that is in charge for your registered address.

CW in your case.

You can not even do your 90 day report at another office.
