Marriage Visa

Featured Replies

Previously I have had the 400 000 baht deposit in the bank when renewing my Marriage Visa This year I needed to withdraw 200 000 with the remaining 200 000 in the bank I have a self funded pension of 35 000 Would this together with my bank account be sufficient to be approved for a further 12 months I have access top the additional 200 000 if necessary but as I have an income which can be verified this may be my easiest option I read that requirement for approval is 400 000 bank security or an income of 40 000/month Would the combination I have suggested be suffice Thanks in advance

Normally you can only combine income and banked money for extensions for retirement. So, I guess the answer would be no.

Nope.

Income OR savings.

Not both.

Getting conflicting responses to my question According to Siam Legal I can combine my bank account and pension to make the 400 000 I do however need to apply to Australian Embassy for a Statutory Declaration to support the application Can't seem to be able to speak to an Immigration Officer for confirmation

From clause 2.18 of police order 327/2557.

"(6) In the case of marriage to a Thai woman, the alien husband must earn an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month or must have no less than Baht 400,000 in a bank account in Thailand for the past two months to cover expenses for one year."
