MADRID: -- The conservative People’s Party (PP) of acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy won most seats in Spain’s parliamentary election on Sunday, increasing the number from the last election in December.

With most votes counted the PP has at least 137 seats in the 350-strong parliament, compared to 123 seats last time, but it is still short of the 176 seats needed for an absolute majority.

Unidos Podemos, (“Together We Can”), a coalition led by anti-austerity party Podemos, was hoping to knock the Socialists into third place but appears to have failed taking only 71 seats. The Socialists won 85.

Liberal Ciudadanos, meanwhile, would repeat its fourth-place showing in December with 26 to 30 seats, the exit poll showed.

Hours earlier, asked what they think would happen, voters in Madrid sounded a note of weariness.

“More or less the same as last time – difficult to reach an accord, and if it’s impossible we’ll have to do it all over again,” said one man, Zacarias.

“I hope for a little rationality, some commonsense, the idea of change – things need to change, but it’s one thing to have a revolution, another to evolve,” said another man, Ignacio Calderon.

As unemployment hits 20 percent one thing is clear: further frustrating deadlock will be very unwelcome.

A trend toward the silent majority voting their conservative conscience is going on in many countries around the world...

Having seen the outcome of liberal social leadership...countries becoming nanny-states under the guise of helping minorities and immigrants improve their standard of living...the world is on the brink of massive unemployment...unpayable debt...money printing with no underlying economy to support it...and either zero or negative interest rates so that fiat money (paper money) has become less valuable...to be rendered near worthless if things do not change in a hurry...

Work...work...hard work...not hand-outs and freebies...is what is needed to turn away from the direction the world is headed...

Entitlements...government assistance...from cradle to grave is a form of elite slavery...people have no incentive to become educated, better themselves with a good job, and contribute to local and national economies...

Time is up! The overtaxed workers and the unemployed/unproductive...are just about in equal numbers in the US...and maybe elsewhere...

Either do the tough job of tightening government's belt, providing job opportunities for those who simply sit at home and watch for a check to come in the mail...or we are in for what will likely become a world filled with chaos, rioting, anarchy...citizens out of control...killing one another like lions and hyenas over a piece of meat...

It is time for a change to a more conservative form of governments...both socially (no special toilet privileges for those who are gender challenged) and fiscally responsible ( no more printing money out of thin air and accumulating unpayable debt to keep the ponzi scheme going)

The people of the GB have voted for freedom to map their own future...go ahead and get your petition of millions of disgruntled losers...does not change a thing...

Watch for the elite to mount a campaign of fear and threats...as they realize their power has just been diminished and their quest to collect all the people under one elite world government has taken a hit...
