Just watched a video how to replace If you are not an ambitious DIY man you indeed need either Asus or another repair man to do the job. Ambitious DIY: it can be done at about any repair shop. No soldering or the like but a lot of unplugging delicate connetors, snap-open etc. After watching this I have an idea that my next device will NOT be one where I can't easily replace the battery. At my bulky Asus Laptop it is moving two external clamps and done. I have no local knowledge about Chiang Mai.
