Has anyone else noticed the amount of un necessary shopping bags used in 7 eleven & Tesco..it seems like a norm with the staff & the customers..just a pack of gum & they'll give it in a bag,a small bottle of water or a can of soda & they'll give it a bag & as soon as the customer comes out of the store they'll throw the bag in the bin..i always try to avoid these polythene bags whenever I can but sometimes I feel that this issue needs to be addressed by the people themselves..I was teaching at a private school & a thought came to my mind to create awareness amongst my students to take initiative for this cause..I even tried getting the teachers on board but all in vain..they seemed not to be bothered by this..now all the problems in the world & here I'm talking about this issue..the reason is that I feel (I might be wrong ) that actions of foreigners are noticed in this country..So if foreigners avoid getting their groceries in excessive shopping bags it might bring some attention to this problem..Or am I delusional?
