Pattaya Police: Crime Crack Down. More Arrests Made



PATTAYA: -- At 1.30pm on the afternoon of June 27 Police Col Apichai Krobpetch, Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, announced a number of arrests in line with the policy of driving crime off the streets of Pattaya.

In the first place a fifteen-year old boy named only as ‘A’ was arrested in possession of a white & brown Yamaha Fino motorcycle belonging to Mr Weerawat Booksanee and which was stolen from an apartment building, in Soi Chalermprakiet 10/1, on the night of June 10.

Twenty-two year old Rattachai Kraichana has been detained after being caught in possession of twenty-five bags of Ya Ba and two bags of Ice that he was delivering to a buyer in front of a hotel in Soi Buakoa.

So by calling this a crackdown doesn't it infer that these type of actions are not normally done on a daily basis? Or is someone trying to make that NOW? All of a sudden? Pattaya is out catching criminals for a short time?
