Nowhere on this thread does it say he's been to court. Only says he paid court very ambiguous can op clear this up did you attend court or pay police.

Op got caught out with or doing something illegal he won't tell us what it is... (i.e. could be drink driving, in Possession of Viagra, Xanax etc without a prescription, Weed, or a Firearm etc)...

The Op wants to know if the 'Check Point' was legal, because it was not outside a Police Station and a Senior Officer was not present.

The location of a check point is irrelevant, but I too saw a news paper article a while ago where a senior officer (Thonglor I believe) outlined that a senior officer needs to be present for a stop and search, but I'm not sure if this also applies to road stops.

I haven't read or heard anything about the location.

It's all a fairly moot point for the Op: Shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted....

I'm not sure if anything could be done if we know the actual law exactly - the BiB certainly don't know their own laws and if they want to set up a little road block they do so on orders of their supervising officer regardless of what protest we make when stopped.
