90 day multiple entry "O" visa exits to renew...

Featured Replies

I am looking into taking a 1 year multiple entry "O" visa. However through the UK Hull Consulate they are saying that you cannot exit & re-entry to local Countries i.e Myanmar,Malaysia or Cambodia it must be to UK, Australia, Hong Kong etc. which seems ridiculous to me. On questioning this via email I was told that the issue is too complicated to put in writing they will advise when I visit their office for the Visa. I am in US until September so I will have to wait for their version. Anyone know anything about this?

Thank you, rolleyes.gif

Absolute nonsense. You can exit and immediately re-enter at any international border until the expiry ('enter before') date of the visa.

You go to any country by land, sea or air and get a new 90 day entry when you re-enter the country.

Thank you, I must admit it sounds strange to me but with Thai Immigration you never know!!

This one, you have to blame on the Thai consular service, not on immigration.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

And it's unusual for Hull to give the wrong advice.
