Commerce ministry organizes DEmark 2016



BANGKOK, 6 July 2016 (NNT) - The Ministry of Commerce has arranged the DEmark project to award Thai products with outstanding designs. The project is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurs to add value to their products.

DEmark has been organized for the ninth year this year under the theme “design makes the business world go round” to show that Thailand has entered the creative economy era. More than 600 products by Thai entrepreneurs and designers were submitted for the competition. They are exhibited at Siam Paragon from 6 - 9 July 2016.

The ministries hope that the project will help develop brands of Thai products and enhance the competitiveness of Thailand.

Final results of the competition will be announced at the end of July. Winners will receive trophies and certificates from the prime minister. They can also use the DEmark symbol to market their products in Thailand and other countries.
