PRD launches charter referendum PR campaign in seven provinces

SURAT THANI, 7 July 2016 (NNT) – The Government Public Relations Department (PRD) has organized a draft constitution PR campaign in seven southern provinces to prepare the media for the upcoming poll.

The campaign involves more than 100 members of the Constitutional Drafting Committee, National Legislative Assembly and local media. PRD deputy Director-General Charoon Chaisorn presided over the opening ceremony.

Mr. Charoon said PR activities for the draft charter referendum were being held across the country to urge the public to exercise their voting rights and educate them on the voting procedure.

The PRD deputy Director-General called on the media to help relay information on all aspects of the draft charter referendum, including the rights and role of voters, as well as the importance of the referendum. He also offered the media guidance on the campaign.

One can see without even turning on the light that Thailand is controlled by a totalitarian Junta, where is the fairness in a one sided PR campaign , all along the Junta has tried its best to stifle public comment giving to the world wide opinion that it has something to hide, lets have a more even playing field with both a fore and against campaign , have a serious balanced debate, not as it stands now , with the Junta pulling out all stops not to have any descent voiced against it and the Charter Thai people will vote no because they know what a Junta is really like, not many Expats do.....................................................coffee1.gif .
