Authorities scour Nonthaburi market for illegal workers

NONTHABURI, 7 July 2016 (NNT) – Authorities have inspected a fresh market in Nonthaburi province for illegal foreign workers.

Administrative and security officials, as well as representatives from Nonthaburi Provincial Employment Office, launched an inspection in Bang Yai Market in Bang Yai district. More than 100 foreign workers were detained for ID verification, though others reportedly managed to escape.

The ID verification was carried out in the market’s car park. Migrant laborers with valid work permits were allowed to stay. Those found to be working in Thailand illegally were taken into custody, pending legal proceedings.

The operation aimed to deter the employment of undocumented immigrants, in line with the government’s policy. According to Damrongtham Centers, more and more Thai nationals have blamed illegal immigrants for job losses and criminal activity.

more and more Thai nationals have blamed illegal immigrants for job losses and criminal activity.

Well, they won't accept responsibility themselves and they are not permitted to point fingers at the Junta, so why not blame the impoverished Burmese, Lao and Cambodians who keep the country going by doing the jobs Thais are too good for?

But they didn't arrest any Thais who were employing the illegal foreign workers.

So get rid of people who are willing to work and replace with Thai workers with no schooling or brains god gave a piss ant. Again some how no flooding keeps coming to mind just waiting for water to drain.
