July 12, 201610 yr Hi all, Foreword: It is not illegal to make consecutive tourist visas: there is no written rule saying that you can't do it. What is illegal is to work in Thailand while you're on a tourist visa. I don't and I will never do that. I have enough income to stay in Thailand without working and I am willing to stay as long as possible but I am too young to apply for a retirement visa and cannot afford a Thai Elite card. If I am asked I can prove that I get my income from my home country on a regular basis. The aim of this thread is to gather information on the situation in different Thai consulates about consecutive tourist visas for those who are in the same situation as me. Here is my most recent experience: Tourist visa in Savannakhet Thai Consulate on the 7th July 2016: Previous history: 1 single entry TV in Penang 1 double entry TV in Vientiane 1 single entry TV in Penang I applied on the 7th July 2016 in Savannakhet Consulate. No question asked. I retrieved my passport on the 8th: Visa accorded. I went back to Thailand the same day. No question asked at immigration control, got my entry stamp. For those who are willing to share information, please be as precise and concise as possible, and speak about your own experience. Please avoid "I heard that…", "Somebody told me that…" so everyone can get genuine information and no rumors.
July 12, 201610 yr The thread is pointless in a way as you are talking about visas that have already been obtained, things can and do change at different Embassy's at different times, At the present moment is seems able to obtain 3 consecutive TV's at both Vientiane and Savanakhet Who knows what will happen in the future?
