HAT YAI: -- A man who stood guard at a karaoke shop in Hat Yai and ensured that Laotian girls serviced customers is the latest arrest of a human trafficking ring.

Thotsapon Pachisap is part of a gang of Thais who lured Laotian women into the sex trade in the far south town. He stood watch ensuring the
girls did not escape and forced them to have sex with customers, reported tnamcot.

A husband and wife have already been arrested. Pisutchai and Sunee Sodarat were responsible for luring the girls into the business. They told them that payments had been made to the girls' mothers and that they were obliged to work off the debt. The girls believed them and sold themselves for nothing.

One more female called Porn who was also involved is wanted on a warrant.
