Their Majesties the King and Queen express sorrow for terror attack in Nice

BANGKOK: Their Majesties the King and Queen on Friday sent a letter of condolence to French President Francois Hollande for the deaths and injuries from the terror attack in Nice on Thursday night which left at least 84 people killed and over 100 injured.

Turkish military says seized control, people take to streets

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey's armed forces said it "fully seized control" of the country Friday as explosions and gunfire erupted in the capital. Turkey's president remained defiant and called on people to take to the streets to show support for his embattled government.

Suspected fraudster and liar "Lady Kai" has been ordered held for twelve more days as investigators continue to gather evidence against her.

Monta Yokratanakan, 56, is being held at a women's detention facility on charges of making malicious and false claims and lese majeste. In yesterday's request to continue her incarceration a further charge of attempting to engage in human trafficking was also mentioned.
