Thailand Post and the up and coming holidays.

Featured Replies

With the longer holidays coming up next week does anyone know if the Thai Post is working Sunday? I know that in the past when times are busy they actually work extra hours here on Saturdays, we sometimes get deliveries on a Saturday, but anyone know if they are planning on Sunday?

What happens to perishables sent by Express like EMS that get stuck in their depot's for 3 or 4 days?

they are supposed to be open in the mornings sunday through to tuesday but that is only the main post office in each province, supposed to be 152 po's open over the 3 days, check which ones here(www.thailandpost.co.th)

Do you know if these same offices (152) are the only ones open on Monday? Seems like my parcel made it 90% of the way and is now stuck in a container at the local sub post office probably until Thursday. There was no activity at my local branch today so from what you are saying I assume it will be the same until Thursday.

main PO only(not sub branches), all the local ones remain closed till thursday so if the parcel was not in the main PO it wont be available. The 152 listed are open during morning hours only then all PO's open up as per normal from thursday.
