Lazada v Apple Online

Featured Replies

After reading many topics I have become more confused as to what is true and what is hearsay.....mainly with respect to Apple Care.

I want to purchase an iPad Mini 4 128GB WiFi + Cellular

Lazada 22,980 Baht + 400 Baht for a smart cover (protective case)........Total = 23,380

Apple Online 24,900 Baht + 1,800 Baht for smart cover......Total = 26,700

But to add Apple Care, I can add 2,800 Baht, taking the total to 29,500 Baht.

Or should I go to my nearest iBeat store and check their prices?

My question to all you seasoned Apple customers here in Thailand.....is Apple Care acknowledged for items purchased in Thailand, and if so.....is it really worth it? As I have had several dealings with Lazada and am quite happy with their service and as you can see, there is quite a difference in the pricing between Lazada and Apple Online.

Any other helpful advice would also be welcomed.

Cheers.

I'm a very keen user of Apple products and I would very much suggest you order the iPad Mini 4+ from Apple direct here:

http://www.apple.com/th/

Consider Apple Care because you are getting the top model with Cell operation (more things to go wrong).

Get the cover etc from Lazada.

iBeat etc are all Full price so no real advantage (unless there is one around the corner to you )

I have the iPad mini 4 with 64 Gb great machine !!! a good choice.

@ petertucker48 Many thanks for your reply......I know it is more sensible to take on Apple Care....just my wallet doesn't agree all the time.

Cheers
