Looking for Pool with (black) Lane markings for doing laps

I am looking for a 25m or 50m half decent (ie maintained) public swimming pool that has the black lane markings on the bottom for a vision impaired friend (and myself) to do some laps. No need for lane "ropes".

A location on the darkside preferably near Khao Talo would be ideal.

I've checked out Mountain Condos (both pools) and Eakmongkol next door but no black lane markings so assuming the other Eakmongkol "estates" along Soi Khao Talo are the same?

I think Cabbages & Condoms in Pratumnack have what you're looking for. It's been a while since I've been there, but I remember taking notice of the swimming pool.

We have lane swimmers come to our pool to do their lengths and it has caused a few problems with the pool using residents who stay at the hotel. We refer to these human torpedoes as channel swimmers.

They'll swim up and down sometimes for an hour or more doing the crawl or back stroke with no regard for the other pool users expecting them to get out of their way. They all wear goggles so they can see where they are going and will swim into you on purpose to make their point. Their behaviour has caused quite a few heated arguments.

There are some huge hotel pools in Jomtien that rarely have many people using them but even so it would be nice to show the hotel guests using the pools a bit of common courtesy.

It would better still for all concerned if they were to do their swimming in the sea where it's free.

Very helpful and empathic comments for a person with 3% sight in one eye who is only trying to keep fit. I'm sure he'd do well in the ocean.

My eye sight is OK. What makes you think I have only 3% vision in one eye?

Pity you failed to remember the location, Cabbages and Condoms is NOT on the darkside!.

Euroclub as mentioned above, 25 m and has lane markings.

Up Chyapruek 2, over the railway line, past little Tesco, turn left at the 7/11 Khao Mahkok crossroads.

Pity you failed to read to OP properly. It states preferably on the darkside, not exclusively or mandatory.

If people are swimming laps stay out of their lane if your not doing laps.

Yes, it's basic swimming pool etiquette: don't interfere with swimmers doing laps, it's extremely rude. Not to mention unwise, as they are concentrating on their exercise and don't always see people floating about in their path.

I'm sorry you misunderstood the original post and my reply. Obviously not an contextual or fluent English speaker.
