Hi,

I am about to finish my contract over here on the 31st of this month. After this i want to stay in Thailand for a few weeks and have a holiday.

What is the best way to change over.

You will have to leave the country and go to an embassy or consulate to apply for a tourist visa or if you qualify for it you could leave and re-enter to get a visa exempt entry that can be extended for 30 days at an immigration office.

Before leaving the you will need to cancel your current extension of stay at immigration and you work permit at the Labor Ministry.
