EC looking into disappearance of voter list in Mae Hong Son

MAE HONG SON, 27 July 2016 (NNT) – The Election Commission (EC) has been informed that a list of eligible voters went missing after being posted up in a village in Mae Hon Son province.

The director of the EC Office in Mae Hon Son revealed that the office has received complaints over the disappearance of the list of voters eligible for the August 7 constitutional referendum from residents of Ban Mai Sape Village in Mueang district after they intended to check their names on the list but found that it had been lost.

Citing recent bouts of heavy rain, the director noted that the list could have been blown away by the wind. Nonetheless, investigations are being conducted to determine how the document actually went missing. In the meantime, a new list has already been put up for the locals.

Ban Mai Sape Village is situated on the Thai-Myanmar border and is home to the Karenni ethnic group, also known as Red Karen. More than 200 of the villagers are reportedly eligible to partake in the upcoming poll.

What do they expect if the lists are posted in the open, what's wrong with a glass case ?

So with all this investigation the BIB will be seeking arrest warrants for children, 100 monkeys and Mother Nature.

Definitely a pattern forming here.......What can it all mean????

It means Thaksin is running around like a headless chicken tearing them all down :D , and that the illustrious leadership are getting more and more paranoid as the days move on.

I don't know why they simply don't realise that if Thaksin wanted them all to say "No" all he needs to do is post a facebook/twitter/Line message to say it, and THAT would freak the Junta right out, teddies would be thrown, dummies spat out, an upsurge on detentions and military tribunals.....all for what? they already have a popularity of 92.8% !!
