BANGKOK:-- Lonely Planet has just put out a new book called “The Best Things in Life are Free.” The book outlines the best — and cheapest — things to do in 60 international cities. It includes 18 places in Bangkok for people to visit to have great experiences for very little baht.

The gorgeous Artist's House, where you can see traditional Thai art and a puppet show, tops the list. The book described it as, "a beautifully restored old home on the canal that a local artist renovated, in part to preserve the traditional structure and in part to open a gallery and art center.”

Other one-of-a-kind activities around the city that made the list were: free aerobics in the park, riding the Chao Phraya Express Boat, checking out Muay Thai fight night at MBK and taking a day trip to Koh Kret, home of traditional pottery and craft beer outpost Chitbeer.
