Sam Koke has gone digital!

Went to do the 90-day report yesterday at Sam Koke, they’ve changed things a bit.

First off is one of the Immigration guys standing out in front of the door where the processing used to be.  He was telling people, at least non-SEAisans to go to Window #3.

Did so, joined the queue of three people, not too bad.

Process is to hand your passport, filled out 90-day report form, and receipt from last report, to the gal inside.  She gets busy with the computer entering your data and hands back your passport and a new receipt.

Did I say “digital?”  The new receipt format has the barcode with passport number just underneath it.  New report date calculated automatically and printed on the receipt.

Note, no mention of the newish Foreign National Information form.

After doing the 90-day report I ducked into the larger room which handles extensions and such.  Asked the gal who does the form checking if there’s anything new.  She pulled out a bad xerox of that Foreign National Information form and said it needed to be done for the next extension.  She also handed out a personal data form all in Thai which needs to be completed.
