BANGKOK:-- A Chinese man has become the latest to be apprehended by the immigration department as the "Good guys in, Bad guys out" success story rolls on.

After two other high profile arrests this week police and immigration officials made it a hat-trick with the arrest of Li Junping, 55, apprehended at the Lumpini Ville condo in Pracha Uthit Road in Huay Kwang yesterday.

Li was wanted on a warrant for fraud issued in his homeland last year.

Chinese authorities say that he had falsified documents relating to a fruit trading business in order to secure loans. He had got his hands on 5 million yuan (about 25 million baht) and come to hide in Thailand on March 29th.

After the Chinese contacted the Thais the local  officials swung into action and eventually got another fugitive from justice. Li now faces deportation to China. He was detained.

Alliteration is......... fantastic

I hate to be a fingered fruit fraudster, I'm sure that my tender melon wouldn't like it....

And will probably get the death penalty.

....now if they would only start arresting and charging their own criminals....

That prospect actually worried me, deporting someone to their likely death is harsh... not that I have much time for fraudsters.

Could the "official" on Junping's left be holding up the finger that was used on the Fake fruit fraudster facing the forlorn future?

As for the comment that "...the local officials swung into action and eventually got another fugitive from justice....", could Juping have been nabbed by Jumping cops!

I'm sure the pointing policeman displays dynamic dual digital dexterity daily.
