PATTAYA: -- At 2.30am, on the morning of July 8, Banglamung police received reports of a car burglary and theft.

The car in question, a modified racing white Honda Civic, was parked along the Railway Road close to Soi Nongketnoi, Banglamung and is owned by twenty-nine-year-old restaurant manager Mr Suchanai Pothong.

His pride and joy had been relieved of its carbon bonnet and rear racing spoiler. The front, left side, window was smashed and a Canon camera with two spare lenses, a computer note book and the car stereo had all been stolen. Mr Pothong estimated their value at around 200,000 baht.

Yeah buddy try convincing the insurance company on the 200,000 baht figure. They should assess you a stupidity charge for leaving valuables out in the open. I am sure without all these valuables in open sight your vehicle would still be intact today. I hoped you learned a lesson. Don't flaunt your wealth.

I have a pesky cat outside that howls all night. Could he be looking for a g/f?? Your welcome to come and take him. PM me for the address.

Does insurance usually pay in this case of stupidity ?

I'm happy I only drive a standard car from Nissan , nobody giving it a second look .
