Using a Thai Motorbike License in Oz

Featured Replies

I am back in Oz for a while,  Got a 5 year Thai Motorbike license, I don't have any motorbike license in Australia.

Anyone know if the 3 month rule applies to me too ?

I always use my Thai driving licence when I visit Australia (put points on this you low life coppers), always good for a laugh when I get stopped on one of WA's many random stops.  Licence please, here you go, what is this, my licence, have you got an Australian licence, nope, errr umh, on your way and take it easy.  The hire car places always accept the Thai licence, I am also non-resident so that may make a difference.

There is no difference car to motorbike from what I can see  here  http://www.australia.gov.au/information-and-services/transport-and-regional/driving-with-an-overseas-licence

Cheers
