NLA to wrap up impeachment of former Interior Minister Aug 19

Kitti Cheevasittiyanon

BANGKOK, 14 August 2016 (NNT) - The National Legislative Assembly is scheduled to wrap up its deliberations of an impeachment case this week.

NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai has issued an order calling for a sitting of all members of the legislature on August 18 to continue the deliberation of the impeachment of former Interior Minister Pracha Prasobdee, who the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s findings have implicated in the interfering with the Market Organization board’s actions against a former director alleged to have been corrupt.

On Thursday, the NLA will let both Mr. Pracha and the NACC deliver their closing statements.

The NLA will also convene a sitting on August 19 to let all members cast their votes in the impeachment of Mr. Pracha.

In addition, the legislature will review a suggestion to extend the deadline for the third consideration of the draft law on development of the digital economy, by 30 more days.

They will also consider an extension of the deadline of the third deliberation of the draft amendment of the Computer Crimes Act by 60 days and the deliberation of the draft amendment of the Petroleum Act and the draft amendment of the Petroleum Income Tax Act, by 30 days.

Normal PTP minister process here.

Looking forward to the stage where the evidence is so overwhelming and he still denies it and then blames the courts for being biased despite all the FACTS implicating him.

Bit like the tourist numbers facts the PTP and UDD strenuously deny.

Could not agree more (bet that shocked you).

I just cannot understand these people who just follow the policy line and continually expound the same old blatant lies, regurgitating what is clearly propaganda over and over again. And all this despite the facts being totally contrary to their statements.

Sound like anyone you know djjamie?
