Recommend a scanner for 10.11.6

Can anyone recommend a flat bed scanner that works with OS X el capitan 10.11.6 ? 

I've used a Epson 4490 for many years and not having done any scanning of 'slides' I now find that the download Driver  from Epson will no longer work.

I found a 'Patch' for el capitan but still no go.

Does anyone know if the Slide Scanner below or similat is available in Thailand ?

I would like to check out before ordering.

Thank you for your information. It seems the way to go and cheap too.

There are flatbed scanners that say Mac compatible, but 10.11.6 compatible is another matter.

I have asked around but no dealer knows if their 35 mm slide machines are able to work with El Capitan.

I emailed Epson and requested the correct driver for the 4490.

They replied late on today.

Downloaded and installed.

Still no go same problem as before, so I sent them a screenshot of the problem.

Also I told them I had tried for last two weeks to find the Download, tried all I could find on net, most several times, all have same problem a missing file.

A flatbed scanner needed for turning 35mm slides into a digital file is hard to find, Lazada have a customer.

Success Gents.

Epson BKK got in touch on Wednesday and I requested a Step by step explanation on obtaining the correct download.

This they did over 20 Screenshots were sent to me.

First one had the Download. It was two lines long and I had never found anything like it on the net.

I downloaded and then followed their instructions, that detailed, even an old knacker like me could follow.

Took a bit of experimenting but I found if I used the Full Auto Mode (1 of 3 Modes) my slides, were  reproduced as I wanted.

My thanks to the man at Epson who stayed with me, but I should have been able to obtain the required File without 3 weeks of chasing.
