Hi all

about to apply for a multiple non imiigrant O visa, but having GREAT difficulty contacting the embassy at Hull .

The phone has been engaged for 2 weeks(unlikely) and they are not answering mails...any ideas why?

I have given up on London due to their appauling telephone system . I have not yet been able to speak to anyone!

What about these guys http://www.siam-legal.com/1yearvisa_uk.html

..anyone used them ? it would be worth 200 quid to get this over with quickly ! :-)

Many thanks

Im pretty sure I have all the info I need ..just wanted to double check with them before I send the docs away.- Im just confused as to why The Hull embassy appears to be uncontactable- doesnt fill me with confidence to send my passport away to their address...hence asking here :-)

If Hull are closed try Cardiff, friendly and efficient, avoid the embassy itself (they don't take postal applications anyway).

BTW both Hull and Cardiff are consulates rather than embassies, there's one in Brum too.

Never had any problems with the RTE at South Ken when applying for my Noni "o".

Sometimes a little bit of a Q but gives an opportunity for a chat with the other punters and find out what everyones up to.

Last couple of times nipped down, bunged in the papers/PP, quick shufi and... pease come back on Mon-Tuesday... kap.....wotever.

Catch the bus just up from the Albert Hall and head towards the Dilly for a coffee and then bodyswerve to my office......

All Very nice,polite,friendly...and painless... :o

Thanks for all the info

Maybe I will just show up at the London Embassy (Im in london anyway) and see how it goes..

Does it help in any way for a non imm o visa to have been married to a thai national for the last 10 yrs?

if so , should I take the marriage certificate along with me?

cheers

Do that but bear in mind they only accept applications in the morning (I think) check it!, you can collect it in person or if you provide a "Special delivery envelope" or pay around £4.50 they will post your passport back to you ( at least they used to).

Yes take your marriage certificate (original) and a copy for them as thats presumably why you are eligible for the Non Imm 'O'

I have always found Liverpool very friendly.
