Visa question

Featured Replies

Hi All

Hope you can help me..

I'm coming to Thailand to do some work with diving and is planning on getting a work permit..

So after I have my got my non b visa and work permit I need to leave the country after 90 days. But when I go to another country do I need to go to an embassy with a lot of paperwork again -  to get a new non b visa or can I just leave the country and come back in??? And if - can I get it done in Denpasar Bali???

  • If you have a multiple entry non 'B' you can exit and immediately re-enter until the visa expires. These visas are valid for unlimited 90 day entries for 1 year from the date the visas issued.
  • If you have a single (or multiple) entry non 'B', once you have your work permit, you can apply for a 1 year extension of stay at your local immigration office within the last 30 (maybe 45) days of any 90 day stay. It costs 1,900 baht.
  • If you don't apply for an extension of stay you'll need to exit, on or before the 90th day, and can get a new visa from Thai Embassies/Consulates in neighbouring countries.
