BMA provides training program for security guards to be cognizant of terrorist threats

BANGKOK, 18 August 2016 (NNT) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has organized a training program for its security guards to be cognizant of terrorist threats.

BMA governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra presided over the training course for the city's security guards to be cognizant of terrorist threats. The training program has been held under the Bangkok Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office's project to provide guidelines and approaches to dealing with terrorist threats and establish confidence and safety among the public.

The training program has been provided with respect to Bangkok as a big metropolitan which is home to embassies, major hotels and other important venues, the Bangkok governor said.

A total of 328 security guards have attended the course which would enable them to tighten up their security chores and to be better versed with applicable equipment.
