AKP Phnom Penh, August 18, 2016 - Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister Public Works and Transport H.E. Sun Chanthol chaired here on Wednesday a committee meeting for the preparation of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on ASEAN, said a news release of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

The meeting was also attended by the WEF delegation which included Mr. Justin Wood, Head of Asia-Pacific, Ms. Samantha Gianora, Head of Regional Meetings and Events,

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss primarily elements regarding the inspection of venues and to exchange views on preparations and arrangements for the World Economic Forum on ASEAN 2017 that will be hosted for the first time in Cambodia, it underlined.

On the occasion, it added, H.E. Sun Chanthol suggested to include in the forum a session which highlights the investment climate and opportunities in Cambodia, and expressed his commitment to cooperate and work closely with the WEF delegation for the preparation and arrangement of this prestigious Summit.
