Public agree -  playing Pokémon Go on the roads should be regulated

BANGKOK: -- Following the announcement from the National Police Bureau that playing Pokémon Go is forbidden even on the footpath in ten major Bangkok roads, reporters went to find out what the public thought about the idea.

US works to keep Turkey in its fold as NATO ally looks east

UN: Thousands of Central American children seek to enter US

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Thousands of children trying to escape gang violence and poverty in Central America have made their way to the United States this year — and there is no sign that the flow is letting up, the U.N. children's agency said in a report released late Monday.

Many Chinese tourists injured in bus crash in Phuket’s Patong beach again

PHUKET: -- About 20 Chinese tourists were injured when the tour coach they were travelling in a developed brake failure and rammed at the rear of a van before crashing  into a temple wall as it was descending down a hilly road to Patong beach in Phuket last night.

PHUKET: -- More than 30 Chinese tourists were taken to Patong Hospital after the tour bus they were travelling on sped out of control down Patong Hill and crashed into the perimeter wall at Wat Suwankhiriwong (Wat Patong) just before 8pm last night (Aug 22).

PHUKET: -- Four of the island’s gem retailers have come under fire from a local bus company who they say are denying local bus drivers of work by drafting in their own buses to provide transport for the shop’s clients.
