CHIANG MAI: -- Police are hunting for a youth who threw a Molotov cocktail at a tattoo shop on Monday.

It was not part of any current unrest but part of a long running feud between a relative of the owner and a rival, reported Daily News.

A man was caught on CCTV on a Honda Wave motorbike. He had thrown the bottle with a cloth wick towards the Tong Tattoo shop but no damage was cause to people or property.

The owner of the downtown Chiang Mai shop - in Soi Wiang Bua Plaza - told police that the attacker was a man named "Pipe".

Yothin Kaewkongphan, 36, said that Pipe had come to the shop in June and a conflict had arisen with another person who worked there.

Pipe, he said, had come back on another occasion to throw urine at the shop but this time had returned with the Molotov cocktail.

Chang Pheuak police are on the tail of the man and believe him to be the man named as the suspect by the owner.
