Justice Ministry mulls taking yaa baa from Category One list

The Justice Ministry has been studying the advantages and disadvantages of removing methamphetamine or better known as Yaa Baa from Category One narcotic drugs and measures to be taken if the drug is to be actually delisted.

Police seize 1.5 million yaa baa tablets from a car in Chumporn

BANGKOK: -- Anti-narcotic police seized 1.5 million tablets of methamphetamine and six kilogrammes of Ice and arrested six alleged drug traffickers, including a 61-year old ringleader, at a road checkpoint in Chumporn province over the weekend.

BANGKOK: -- Senior public prosecutors were split about whether former deputy commerce minister Banyin Tangpakorn and his girlfriend, Ms Kanthana Sivathanapol, should be indicted with charges of forging documents for the transfer of 300 million baht worth of the shares of Chuwong sae Tang, a construction tycoon, to both of them.
