CDC to send three sets of charter-related documents to the Charter Court

 

 

BANGKOK: -- Three sets of documents prepared by the Constitution Drafting Committee are due to be sent to the Constitutional Court for consideration yesterday (Monday).

 

CDC spokesman Norachit Singhaseni said that the first set of documents concerns the amendment of Section 272 of the draft constitution in correspondence with the attached question in the referendum confirming that only House members have the right to nominate the prime minister during the first five years after the promulgation of the draft charter.

 

The second set of documents is about the amended pre-amble of the draft charter to correspond with the results of the August 7 referendum.

 

The third set regards the clarification of the draft charter amendments in correspondence with the attached question in the referendum.

Why do the powers that be waste time with all the pretend consultation,  discussion,   consideration etc as all they need to do is put every item into that special one man department headed by Khun R. Stamp   ?
